DENVER—Moby is scheduled to play in Denver during the Democratic National Convention.
The singer-songwriter is scheduled to play for an 18 and over crowd at The Church nightclub Aug. 27, the third night of the Aug. 25-28 convention.
The venue’s Web site says a portion of ticket sales will go to Barack Obama’s campaign.
At the Manifest Hope Gallery, a slew of other bands including Silversun Pickups and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah are scheduled to play in a joint concert also set for Aug. 27.
This event, however, is not open to the public. The group MoveOn.org is sponsoring the concert with other activist groups for young Democrats belonging to Generation Obama and other organizations.
