Getting your player ready...
AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo.—Air Force got another look at their four quarterbacks in a scrimmage at Falcon Stadium.
So far, senior Shea Smith is listed as the starter with junior Eric Herbort listed as backup, but quarterbacks coach and co-offensive coordinator Blane Morgan says all the quarterbacks must improve their consistency.
Smith led a pair of scoring drives Saturday. Herbort scored on an option run but also lost a fumble while trying to hand off the ball.
The Falcons’ freshman signal callers, Tim Jefferson and Asher Clark, also got playing time.
