BOULDER, Colo.—The former human resources director for the city of Longmont has been sentenced to 10 days in jail on a felony stalking conviction.
Fifty-one-year-old Kevin Edinger also was sentenced Friday in Boulder to 21 days on a work crew, 60 hours of community service and four years of probation.
Edinger pleaded guilty in June. Police arrested him after a woman he briefly dated said she suspected him of vandalizing her home and car.
City officials placed Edinger on administrative leave, and Edinger later resigned.
Edinger has paid about $4,000 in restitution. A hearing is scheduled Nov. 25 for a judge to consider more.
