A man was arrested in Fort Collins this morning after a series of fire authorities say were arson.

Travis Sky Wadena, 21, is suspected of setting several blazes, Fort Collins police said in a news release.

Police and the Poudre Fire Authority got the first reports about 3:40 a.m.

When officers got to the 400 block of West Oak Street, a 2001 white Subaru Forester was on fire, along with nearby fires of a motorcycle, a 1999 Chevrolet S-10, a a trash bin, a pile of yard debris and a garage.

A witness told officers that a man who had been near the trash bin fire had gone into a 7—Eleven store. With the help of Colorado State University police, Wadena was arrested.

He is being held at the Larimer County Detention Center on felonies including second-degree arson and trespassing.

His mug shot was not released.
