Protest leaders said they have no intent of heeding police warnings for them to stop their march against the Iraq war today from the steps of the Capitol to the front door of the Democratic National Convention at the Pepsi Center.
Police have said the End the Occupation March — led by such famous protesters as Cindy Sheehan, Vietnam veteran Ron Kovic and former University of Colorado professor Ward Churchill — would end at Larimer Street on the 16th Street Mall.
A rally starts on 9 a.m. at the Capitol, and the march is scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m.
