DENVER—Police say a brief standoff with demonstrators in a downtown Denver parking garage ended without incident when the protesters apparently left by another exit.
Police spokesman Sonny Jackson says about 100 demonstrators had been walking down a street Sunday when their path was blocked by officers. He says about a dozen demonstrators went into the garage, where they tossed trash and other small debris out onto the street.
When officers went inside, the demonstrators were gone. No one was arrested.
Initial reports had indicated the only way out was the same way the demonstrators went in.
