In celebration of the 100-year anniversary of the Ford Model T, Gateway Canyons, about an hour southwest of Grand Junction, offers “The T Party: Model T Centennial Celebration” package Sept. 26-28 at the Gateway Colorado Auto Museum. There will be daily lectures with master historian Dick Rubens, director of the Model T Automotive Heritage Complex in Detroit; era-specific films; a quilt and antiques show; and a gala dinner and dance complete with big-band-era music and dance exhibition. The two-night package includes two nights’ accommodations; admission to the Gateway Colorado Auto Museum and the Grand Junction Air Show; a wine and cheese reception; admission to all lectures and exhibits; and a gala dinner and dance for $245 per person, based on double occupancy.
