LAKEWOOD, Colo.—A Colorado utility says it will be begin charging customers $3 to $12 more a month for their natural gas bills.
SourceGas Distribution says the increase is for the non-gas component of the bill and it is meant to offset the costs to deliver natural gas to its approximately 85,000 customers in Colorado.
The increase was approved by the Colorado Utility Commission and it will take effect Monday. SourceGas says the increase each customer sees will depend on how much gas they use.
SourceGas is headquartered in Lakewood but also provides service in Arkansas, Nebraska and Wyoming.
