If you’re one of those guys who needs a reason to run, well, they don’t get much better than the Skirt Chaser 5K. Saturday at 5 p.m., the fast women of Boulder-based Skirt Sports will bring their fashion sense to the starting line at Fillmore Plaza in Cherry Creek. And unless they want to be caught, they had better bring their best running game, too. In this novel race series, the women receive a Skirt Sports running skirt with their $55 entry fee and a three- minute head start on the men. Then it’s up to the guys to catch up before the postrace party. Oh, and if that’s not incentive enough, the first person across the finish line picks up $500 for his or her effort. Racers can register in advance at Outdoor Divas in Boulder or Cherry Creek, or from 3-4:30 p.m. on race day at Fillmore Plaza and East 2nd Avenue.
