COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Colorado Springs police have arrested a suspect in the slaying of a man whose body was found downtown.
Police said Tuesday that 48-year-old Matthew Rowland was taken into custody Monday night.
His arrest came 30 minutes after police responded to a report of an assault. When they arrived they found the victim’s body on the south side of Bijou Street.
The man’s name hasn’t been released.
The investigation is still under way.
