Frontier Airlines is scaling back the number of employees it plans to lay off as it reorganizes to emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
The company previously said it would lay off 600 workers by the end of the year as it cut flights and retired aircraft.
However, because of attrition and early-retirement packages, Frontier said it would have to displace only 200 workers, including 28 pilots, by early November. The company has sent out amended notifications to employees and Colorado Department of Labor officials.
