AURORA, Colo.—One person is dead after an early-morning shooting at an Aurora apartment complex.
Aurora police received calls about a disturbance in the parking lot at the Windsor Court Apartments about 2:20 a.m. Thursday. Officers arrived to find a man on the ground suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
He died later at a hospital.
Aurora Police Department spokesman Det. Bob Friel says no arrests have been made, and that detectives are still in the process of interviewing more than a dozen people who may have been witnesses.
The victim’s identity has not been released, but Friel says he appeared to be in his late teens or early 20s.
A suspect description is not yet available.
