LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska offensive coordinator Shawn Watson says the Cornhuskers don’t see New Mexico State’s defensive scheme too often.
One of the Aggies’ defensive strategies is confusion, giving opposing offenses multiple looks and moving players around before the ball is snapped.
The Aggies haven’t played yet this season. Their opener against Nicholls State was canceled because the Louisiana team couldn’t travel because of Hurricane Gustav.
Nebraska offensive coordinator Shawn Watson says they’ve built a plan based on the information they have and will try to anticipate any adjustments.
The team held a 2 1/2-hour practice Tuesday to prepare for Saturday’s game against New Mexico State.
