Alvin McKinley, a 10-game starter at defensive tackle for the Broncos last season, signed with the New Orleans Saints.
McKinley initially made the Broncos 53-man roster that was set August 30, but was given his release two days later.
McKinley, 30, is beginning his ninth year in the NFL. He previously played with Carolina and Cleveland.
He should be ready to play in Week 3, when the Saints face the Broncos at Invesco Field.
