Denver police were on the lookout late Saturday for the driver of a gold sports utility vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident with a motorcycle.
Two people were aboard the motorcycle. A man was declared dead at the scene and the woman riding with him was taken to Denver Health Medical Center in critical condition.
The accident near the intersection South Navajo Street and Alameda Avenue happened around 8 p.m., police said.
Police believe the SUV may have cut off the motorcycle, causing the driver to lose control and crash.
Anyone with information about the vehicle or accident should call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
