Ol’ rubberlips is back and so is the quest for at least 20 teams to pursue it. Denver Trout Unlimited will present its second annual South Platte Pro-Am Carp Slam event, a fundraiser to help clean up the river where it flows through Denver.
The Sept. 27 tournament costs $200 for each team matching an amateur with a professional guide. Andrews on Lincoln pub, 1111 Lincoln St., again will serve as event headquarters.
