A man was fatally stabbed early this morning after a fight in a Pueblo bar spilled outside into a parking lot.
Blake Bryan Benegas, 38, was stabbed multiple times in the chest and back at about 12:20 a.m. outside the Quart House bar, 310 W. Northern Ave., Pueblo police said in a press release.
Witnesses told police a fight inside the bar spilled outside, where Benegas was stabbed. He was taken to St. Mary Corwin Hospital, where he died at about 9 a.m., police said.
Investigators are looking at surveillance video from inside the bar in hopes of identifying suspects.
Suspects fled the scene in a light-colored, older-model Pontiac Bonneville with custom rear fender skirts, police said.
