An underage party Saturday night brought out sheriff’s deputies and ended with a young woman in jail and 11 minors cited for illegally possessing alcohol, the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
The call about the party in the 20000 block of East Caley Drive came in about 10:30 p.m. Deputies detained 35 people, among them Lauren M. Brooks, 19.
When deputies handcuffed Brooks and took her from the basement to the main floor, she resisted and kicked a deputy, officials said.
She was booked on suspicion of second-degree assault, and bail was set at $6,000.
Eleven juveniles were cited for underage consumption and released to “responsible adults,” the news release said.
