Getting your player ready...
LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska coach Bo Pelini says he’s using this week to let players recover from the first three games of the season and prepare for Virginia Tech.
The Cornhuskers don’t play Saturday, and return to the field Sept. 27 for the Hokies.
Pelini says with the long stretch ahead, he’s going to let players get healthy.
The team held a short practice Tuesday, their first since Saturday’s win over New Mexico State.
Virginia Tech coach Frank Beamer has led the Hokies to four straight 10-win seasons. Pelini says Beamer has done a tremendous job, and that the Huskers have their work cut out for them.
