The winner: Karen Mather, Denver: The photo is a section of two murals located off 15th and Little Raven streets, underneath Speer Boulevard. The artist, Emanuel Martinez, was helped by 50 students from local schools. The artwork was coordinated with the help of Jeff Shoemaker, the South Platte River Greenway Foundation and two Gates Family Foundation grants. The project shows the development of Denver and the multiple influential cultures.
