DENVER—A 2-year-old boy is hospitalized in Aurora after falling from a third-floor window at a Denver apartment complex.

Denver Fire Department Assistant Chief Steve Garrod says paramedics were called to the Redstone Ranch Apartments and Townhomes in northeast Denver about 2:15 p.m. Sunday.

Officials say the toddler was breathing on his own and was conscious after landing on his face in some small rocks.

The boy had been playing in a bedroom with his 4-year-old brother when he fell through a window screen.

The child was rushed to The Children’s Hospital with undisclosed injuries.

His name and condition have not been released.
