GYPSUM, Colo.—Sheriff’s deputies say the Gypsum Public Library was evacuated and a nearby recreation center was locked down after a report that someone inside the library may have been suicidal.

The man wasn’t found and the evacuation and lockdown were lifted about 45 minutes later.

The incident occurred Monday in Gypsum, about 30 miles west of Vail and 100 miles west of Denver.

The Eagle County Sheriff’s Department has identified the man as 32-year-old Jose Varela Orozco of Las Vegas. They say he’s wanted on Eagle County arrest warrants on charges of menacing use of a deadly weapon, domestic violence and harassment.
