A 24-year-old Clifton woman was cited this morning for careless driving after she swerved into a bus carrying 27 elementary school children in Clifton, authorities say.
Viridiana Ybarra-Rason was cited for careless driving and driving without a license in the accident that happened at 8:25 a.m., Trooper Randy White of the Colorado State Patrol said.
Ybarra-Rason was driving northbound on 32 Road near E Road when she swerved into the side of the school bus headed south carrying children between the ages of 5 and 10, White said.
Several children received minor bumps and bruises, he said.
