A safety class for teen-agers with developmental disabilities will be held each Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. from Oct. 9 through Nov. 6 at the Public Safety Building at 1805 33rd St. in Boulder.

The class is open to teens from across the region. Most students range from 13 to 18 years old.

The class covers decision-making skills, street smart safety, home security, fire prevention and safety, and safety while riding public transportation.

The class, in its 12th year, is put on by Boulder police and the Association for Community Living. The registration deadline is Oct. 2. For more information or to register call 303-441-3332.
