Five Saturday workshops will open the Fall Orvis Days series of free fly-fishing events at Orvis Cherry Creek, 2701 E. First Ave.

These begin with a 10 a.m. presentation by Kinsley Outfitters on Rocky Mountain National Park, then Kerry Caraghar’s 11 a.m. address on fishing within an hour of Denver. Blue Quill Angler personnel will talk about the South Platte River at 1 p.m. Fly Fishing Outfitters follow with the Vail Valley at 2 p.m. Caraghar will end the session at 3 p.m. with Wyoming’s Encampment River.

The series will continue Sunday and Oct. 11 and 12 with a schedule that is included in The Denver Post’s outdoor calendar.
