Northern Colorado is projected to add more than 4,000 new jobs in 2009, despite the declining national economy, according to a report released Wednesday by two Colorado State University economists.

The 1.9 percent projected job-growth rate in Larimer and Weld counties, however, is expected to be about the same as it was this year and will barely keep pace with growth in the labor force, according to a study authored by Martin Shields and David Keyser.
