DENVER—One person is dead after a car crashed into a shed early Thursday in Denver.
Police say the accident occurred about 1:15 a.m. Officers responded to a house in southeast Denver to find a Chevrolet sedan wedged into the rear of a shed behind the home.
The driver was found dead inside the vehicle.
The car apparently crashed through a fence and hit a tree before slamming into the garden shed. Neighbors say the impact sounded like an explosion.
The owners of the home, Dick and Mary Zachman, say today’s accident marks the third time a vehicle has hit their shed and the fourth time overall that a vehicle has crashed into their property.
The name of the driver has not been released.
