FORT COLLINS, Colo.—The Colorado State University Board of Governors has approved a measure extending benefits to domestic partners of university employees.
The board unanimously passed the measure Wednesday.
CSU already offers health care benefits to employees’ spouses. Beginning Jan. 1, CSU would grant the same access to benefits to the unmarried, opposite- or same-sex partners of CSU employees.
The university has about 8,000 employees.
