CRETE, Neb.—Sioux Falls held Doane College to 94 yards of total offense and Lorenzo Brown rushed for two scores as the Cougars beat the Tigers 37-7 Saturday in the Great Plains Athletic Conference.
Drew DeGroot recovered a fumble for a touchdown for Sioux Falls (5-0, 5-0), which held Doane to just 35 yards rushing.
Brown rushed for a team-high 68 yards and passed for 130 yards for Sioux Falls. He scored on runs of 1 and 6 yards.
The Cougars had 408 yards of offense.
Ryan Lowmiller and a 1-yard TD run and Erik Cimpl caught a 9-yard scoring pass from Bret Beachner.
Anthony Ritton caught a 41-yard pass for the Tigers’ (2-3, 1-3) only touchdown.
