
THE UNIVERSITY OF DENVER: Jeffrey Howard returns to the university as executive director of the Office of Alumni Relations. Howard was serving as director of education and outreach programs for the U.S. Olympic Committee.
LOWE ENTERPRISES: Elected Shirli Sensenbrenner, vice president and director of capital projects for Destination Hotels and Resorts, a Denver subsidiary, as a shareholder.
GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION: Named Wanda Hobart to serve as the deputy regional administrator. She has been the acting deputy regional administrator since December.
SPIREMEDIA: Hired Haley Baroody as office manager and Matt Gudmundson and Tom Harshenberger as Web developers.
BUSINESSWEEK: Named Caleb Hebel, an undergraduate alumnus of the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business, one of the 2008 finalists for best young entrepreneur in America. After graduating, Hebel purchased Big Sky Outdoor Advertising, a 10-year-old company that installs and maintains bus shelters, benches and other street furniture for the city of Denver in exchange for the right to advertise on the equipment.
KELLER WILLIAMS REALTY: The Denver Northwest Market Center announced that Aimee Quaratino has joined its sales team.
UP WITH PEOPLE: Announced that Thomas J. Spaulding submitted his resignation as president and chief executive effective Oct. 31.
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF WOMEN IN CONSTRUCTION:The Denver Metro Chapter named Tarah Harpstreith, construction-project manager for Magnolia Hotels, as president.
SPACE FOUNDATION: Hired James Vaughan as vice president of marketing and creative services and Kevin Wilma to fill the newly created position of vice president of development.
