NORTHFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A semi-trailer was clipped by a bus overloaded with members of an Amish church group Thursday, flipping the bus onto its side and sending 14 people to the hospital, including several children. Most of those injured suffered cuts and bruises, though four adults and two children were in serious condition. The bus driver swerved left to avoid a slower vehicle entering southbound U.S. 23 and clipped the front of the semitrailer, said a state trooper.
