KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Police say a customer in a Knoxville mall fatally shot a clothing store employee because he was upset about a previous clothing purchase.

Knoxville police said suspect William Johnson, 42, went to the Knoxville Center Mall on Wednesday, got into a dispute at Reno Mens Wear, pulled out a handgun and shot employee Ahmed Nahl, 29.

Johnson was shot by police. He is charged with murder and is recovering in a hospital.
