John McCain’s campaign is denying a report that advisers are considering ceding Colorado to Barack Obama. A CNN story on Monday cited unnamed McCain strategists and advisers as saying the prospect of the Republican presidential candidate winning Colorado, as well as Iowa and New Mexico, looked bleak. They also reportedly said the Obama campaign was in a better position to get out the vote in Colorado. McCain’s regional spokesman Tom Kise says the report isn’t true and that pulling back in Colorado isn’t on the table.
