Alex Cousins gave Colorado a 1-0 lead in the first half, but the Buffaloes women’s soccer team lost to Texas A&M 2-1 in overtime Sunday in Boulder in the last game of the regular season.
Despite CU goaltender Kirstin Radlinski recording a season-high seven saves, the Aggies scored three minutes into overtime, winning their fifth straight conference regular-season title. Colorado tied for second.

University of Colorado men’s basketball coach Jeff Bzdelik named forward Jermyl Jackson-Wilson — the only senior on the team — one of three captains for the Buffaloes’ upcoming season. He is joined by junior guard Dwight Thorne and sophomore guard Cory Higgins.
“All three have exemplified themselves as leaders both on and off the court,” Bzdelik said.
Eagles remain unbeaten.
The Colorado Eagles remained unbeaten, improving to 6-0 with a 2-1 shootout victory over the Oklahoma City Blazers in Oklahoma City in a Central Hockey League game.
Eagles captain Greg Pankewicz scored the game- winning goal for the Eagles’ third shootout victory in six games. Colorado has outscored its opponents 32-19 during the best start in franchise history.
