DENVER—Colorado College goalie Richard Bachman blocked 44 shots to help preserve a tie against Denver Friday.
Colorado College (4-0-3, 2-0-1 Western Collegiate Hockey Association) led 2-0 at one point with goals from Brian Connelly and Addison DeBoer at Denver’s Magness Arena.
Denver’s Rhett Rakhshani scored first for the Pioneers (4-1-1, 2-0-1) and Luke Salazar tied the game with 28 seconds left to play.
A crowd of about 5,800 people attended the game.
