A shooting Friday in Lakewood left one man slightly injured, another on the lam and a girlfriend in custody.
Lakewood police spokesman Steve Davis said two men got into an argument, either over drugs or a domestic situation, shortly after 6 p.m. in the 1600 block of Jay Street. One pulled out a small-caliber gun and shot the other, but the wound was not life-threatening, Davis said.
The shooter fled the scene and is described as a Latino male in his 20s, dressed in black clothing. A woman was arrested at the scene.
A number of agencies set up a manhunt, including the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and the Denver Police Department, which sent its helicopter in.
