QB Joe Ganz vs. Oklahoma’s defense. Ganz has thrown for more than 300 yards in each of his past three games, and the Sooners gave up a season-high 486 passing yards last week against K-State.
Players to watch
Nebraska: Nate Swift became Nebraska’s school record-holder for career receptions last week and did it with a career-high 12 catches for 121 yards and two touchdowns.
Oklahoma: Ryan Broyles had the Sooners’ first punt return touchdown of the season last week, and Nebraska is the second-worst team in the nation in net punting.

Sooners coach Bob Stoops and Huskers coach Bo Pelini are both from Youngstown, Ohio, and Pelini was Stoops’ defensive coordinator for one season in 2004. … It’s only the sixth time in the storied series that Nebraska has come in unranked, but the third straight.
