NORTHGLENN — A pickup truck going faster than 100 mph rear-ended a Dodge Neon and left the crash site in Northglenn early Sunday, police said.

The Neon’s driver sustained serious injuries. The person’s name was not released.

The crash happened just before 1 a.m. at West 104th Avenue and Croke Drive. Witnesses told police the small car was hit by a full-sized pickup truck, possibly a Dodge, with a custom silver and blue paint job.

The truck sustained heavy front-end damage.
