Getting your player ready...
LINCOLN, NEB. — Nebraska coach Bo Pelini says he’s become concerned about his volatile sideline demeanor and that he needs to watch himself.
Television shots during last week’s game at Oklahoma showed an animated Pelini yelling into his headset, at assistant coaches and players and grabbing a player by the face mask.
Pelini said he doesn’t believe his actions have hurt his relationship with his players, but he is worried that he may not portray the university in a good light.
Pelini said he has spoken with athletic director Tom Osborne and that Osborne has been supportive, telling Pelini that he needs to keep his emotions in check.
