FORT COLLINS, Colo.—A body discovered near a Fort Collins bike trail over the weekend has been identified as that of a 42-year-old man.
The Larimer County Coroner’s Office says Ronald E. LeBlanc was the man found dead late Sunday morning near the Poudre River Trail. The cause and manner of death were not released, pending toxicology test results that could take as long as six weeks.
The coroner’s office said there were no signs of foul play.
Officials described LeBlanc as a semi-transient. Police records indicate he had a long criminal history within the city, including being cited for theft Nov. 2.
He served eight days in jail last month on harassment charges.
