Local homebuilder Berkeley Homes is hosting a model-home furniture and accessories sale on Saturday. Proceeds will benefit The Bridge Project, an after-school, summer and scholarship program for children living in Denver Housing Authority neighborhoods including Quigg-Newton, South Lincoln, Columbine and Westwood. Horticulturists’ holidays
The Denver Botanic Gardens hosts its annual holiday sale Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. More than 60 artisans will display paintings, photography, pottery, candles, gourmet food and other handcrafted gifts from around the world. One new offering this year will be a selection of holiday plants, such as poinsettias and wreaths. Members of the Denver Botanic Gardens Guild also will sell their popular homemade gourmet vinegars made from herbs cut at the gardens.
