The man killed Monday night after he was shot by someone in a passing car was identified today as Reyes Lloyd Torres, 21.
The fatal drive-by happened at about 10:45 p.m. near the intersection of South Decatur Street and West Iliff Avenue, said Sonny Jackson, a Denver police spokesman.
Torres was taken to Denver Health Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, Jackson said Tuesday.
Investigators are talking with the the two friends who were with Torres when he was shot and hope to develop leads in the case, Jackson said.
Police have not released any information on the suspects or on the motive in the shooting.
