OFFENSE

A It was the offense’s most balanced performance in weeks, led by Jay Cutler’s steady play and a trio of running backs who combined for 113 rushing yards. Best of all, no turnovers.

DEFENSE

A The patchwork unit that included three rookie starters played inspired football and held Michael Turner and Jerious Norwood to fewer than 100 rushing yards combined.

SPECIAL TEAMS

B Eddie Royal’s 58- and 40-yard kickoff returns were among his best of the season. Matt Prater missed a field goal for the third consecutive game.

COACHING

A The coaches successfully prepared the young players to play like veterans on the road, a difficult task. The decision to play Spencer Larsen on offense and defense was gutsy — and worked well.

OVERALL

A A second consecutive come-from-behind road victory demonstrated the team’s character and helped the Broncos maintain control of the AFC West.
