Getting your player ready...

Another Bronco bites the dust because of an injury. The team announced today that Nate Jackson suffered a hamstring injury in Wednesday’s practice and has been placed on the injured reserve, ending his season.

Jackson started three games and appeared in all 10 games this season. He caught 11 passes for 84 yards and one touchdown.

To replace Jackson, the team signed free-agent tight end Chad Mustard, who had appeared in three games for the Broncos before being waived on Nov. 4. Mustard previously signed with the team this season on Oct. 6 when tight end Tony Scheffler suffered a groin injury.

Mustard has played off and on with the Broncos for the past three seasons.

In 44 career games with Denver and Cleveland, Mustard has 12 receptions for 123 yards.
