Former NBA player and Oklahoma star Wayman Tisdale will make his first musical appearance since having part of his right leg amputated, performing at the All-College Classic basketball doubleheader. Tisdale, who has been fighting bone cancer, will play bass guitar Dec. 20 at halftime of the game between OU and Virginia Commonwealth. It’s the 25th anniversary of Tisdale scoring 61 points, setting an All-College Classic record. Tisdale, the Sooners’ career scoring leader, has had a successful music career that includes several top 10 hits on contemporary jazz charts. The AP/Getty Images photo
