Vail Mountain and Eldora Ski Area open today for the 2008-09 season.
In Vail, the Born Free trail, accessible by the Born Free Express Lift, will be open, and the Eagle Bahn Gondola will provide access to beginner terrain. The Little Eagle Lift also will be open for guests to reach the Marketplace restaurant.
At Eldora, the Hornblower and International trails on Challenge Mountain will be open.
