HOUSTON — Former first lady Barbara Bush was resting in a Houston hospital Tuesday after complaining of a “little bit of pain.”
Family spokesman Jim McGrath said Bush, 83, went to Methodist Hospital in the afternoon as a precaution. She had been experiencing abdominal pain this week.
He said the results of all the tests she had undergone were negative. She was expected to be released later Tuesday or early today.
McGrath said former President George H.W. Bush was with his wife.
