OFFENSE
A Including Jay Cutler’s 357 yards passing, Peyton Hillis’ 129 yards rushing and the 27 offensive points, this was the unit’s best performance in months.
DEFENSE
A The group rebounded from a bad game a week ago to have its best all-around performance, with two turnovers and two sacks while holding the Jets — the NFL’s highest-scoring team — to 17 points.
SPECIAL TEAMS
B Kicker Matt Prater was perfect for the first time in five games. Punter Brett Kern pinned the Jets inside their 20-yard line four times, including two inside the 10. His best: a 47-yard punt downed at the 2 after deftly catching a wide snap and avoiding a block.
COACHING
A Diverse and aggressive play-calling on offense and defense kept the Jets off-balance. The Broncos were unafraid of running Peyton Hillis up the middle and smartly used tight ends Tony Scheffler and Daniel Graham.
OVERALL
A The Jets are the best team the Broncos have beaten this year, and Denver was in control of the game from the start. Paired with San Diego’s loss, Sunday could not have gone better for the Broncos, who have a three-game lead in the AFC West.
