WASHINGTON — President Bush said Thursday that the pressures of his job have brought him closer to his wife, Laura.
“I give her all the credit about why I can say a good marriage has gotten better,” Bush told NBC News. Bush said, “It’s been a fabulous journey.”
The Bushes have bought a home in the Preston Hollow area of North Dallas, where they will live after the president leaves office in January.Property records indicate that Robert McCleskey, a Bush family friend, recently bought as a trustee an 8,500-square-foot house with a market value of $2.1 million on Daria Place.
