LOVELAND, Colo.—Two Nebraska college wrestlers remain in a Colorado hospital, recovering from injuries they suffered in a traffic accident last week.
Spokesman Gary Kimsey at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland says their listed conditions haven’t changed since Thursday.
Kimsey said Monday afternoon that John “J.J.” Pursley and William Jones of Chadron State College were in serious condition. He also said Max Baker was discharged Friday.
The hospital also treated Ty Brown of Crawford, Brett Hunter of Rushville and assistant coach Mark Pfeifer of Garden Valley, Calif.
The six were in a school van headed to the Denver airport Wednesday night when the driver lost control. The van ran off Interstate 25 near the Wyoming border.
